According to Congress' thinking, if Americans can wait an hour to turn on their lights at night, the nation should be able to conserve at least some energy.This is dumb, because it means that Americans will be burning their lights in the morning before going off to work and school.

What it actually does is encourage the young people to jump in their Silverados after school and go visit friends for an extra hour.
