I am not a Truman fan, but in this case he made the right decision and IMO, a lot of American military personnel and more Japanese are alive because of it.

I am not a Truman fan, but in this case he made the right decision and IMO, a lot of American military personnel and more Japanese are alive because of it. Too bad Truman dismissed MacArthur. Other than his atomic bomb decision, Truman is the most overrated President ever.
