A couple of months ago I helped my 4th grade daughter learn about plants. One of the plants they learned about was the Venus Fly Trap. She surprised me by pointing out that that means that some plants eat meat! I wonder what PETA thinks of that?

The water in my toilet (most of the time) is cleaner than the drinking water of 70% of the world.
As far as a dog, we're talking about an animal that licks it testicles and sticks it's nose up other animals butts. A sense of perspective here?

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, to await the onset of winter, when I can again don my B-3 flight jacket and really hork off the PETA crowd when the realization dawns on them that three different animals gave their lives for my comfort.....sheepskin for the body of the jacket, horsehide for the sleeve reinforcements, and steerhide for the belting at the neck and waist. The Air Force is so deliciously UN-PC!

That's right, put Fluffy outside and you have to use a leash on them. Have you ever TRIED that with a cat? Yep. Once. One town I lived in required leashes on cats. I'll never try that again. The cat "objected", strenuously. She tore me up good.
