There's the problem - "appears." I think we've earned the right to have a nominee we *know* will fit the bill.
That's what she's saying, and as much as I dislike her I think she's right. Roberts is a relatively unknown at best, and what's the need for that? The President could nominate a slam-dunk and have him confirmed.

Not really. He's very well known by the some of the biggest names in the fight to end abortion. He's also well known by other leading, non-media, conservatives. I wonder why people keep on saying he's not well known.
