"The move would likely inflame some Democrats who have said Bolton doesn't have the temperament to hold the U.N. post."
Ironic comment!
I think some Democrats don't have the temperment needed for 'advice and consent'.
Good for Bush, about time.

No that's just lib code for "*sskicker". They are just scared that someone will go to the UN to tell it like it is and make them look bad. When you have that job you are to represent the United States not the status quo and that's what they are all afraid of. I can't wait to see him go up there and get crazy and shake things up.

Interesting that the usually biased CNN did not mention that Senator Biden is requesting documents that would show whether Bolton testified to the grand jury about the Plame affair and then lied about testifying. This was reported on Fox last night with the explanation that only MSNBC is reporting that he testified. On of the panel on Fox said an exclusive story is good as long as its not exclusive forever, meaning (I guess) that someone else should report it for verification.

I don't get why they telegragh their moves either, the only thing that occurs to me is they do it so the Dims don't get shocked out of their gourds. Gives them some time to get used to the idea!

Go ahead and do it Monday of next week. This is far past due. I would have done it during the July 4th holiday.

I'd be tickled pink to see them shocked - to watch Biden/Kennedy/Schumer et al stomping their feet and tearing their hair at the news.
I'd pay to see that - have to give Fox news a head's up so they could have their cameras trained on the putzes... and then make the announcement!
Fox could make it pay-per-view! LOL!!!!!

OK, does anyone else see the folly in this statement? I would say those inflamed do not have the temperment to be Senators.

Seeing the RATS spontaneously combust would do me a world of good right now! Now the Dims are saying they want to postpone Judge Roberts confirmation hearings till after September. They make me ill!
