Despite press speculation that VP Cheney would run for President in 2008 http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000920885, the VP has announced that he will not run. He announced this previously http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/archives/9151 and has been even more adamant recently. http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/005/295zkwpw.asp
While various groups urge VP Cheny to reconsider: http://www.blogsforbush.com/mt/archives/004066.html http://www.washingtontimes.com/national/20050324-114418-5513r.htm http://www.patriotblog.com/post/index/735/President-Cheney-Dick-Cheney-should-run-Fred-Barnes-writes
In order to spare the life of a Washington Journalist (Helen Thomas), however, VP Cheney, however, is leaving no wiggle room on his decision. http://www.nationalreview.com/kudlow/kudlow200503220925.asp http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2005/2/6/221650.shtml For this humanitarian deed, several groups are beginning a grassroots effort the obtain a blessing by the Pope for VP Cheney or possibly nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize. It is rumored that Linda Foley of the The Newspaper Guild website, moved by VP Cheney's recent denials thus saving the life of a journalist, is considering a public apology for past savage attacks on Cheny and the Bush Administration.

Where is the compassion for the rest of us? Run so she'll kill herself. It's a public service thing.

I wish a Cheney spokesperson would utter the words, "Helen Thomas should seek professional help."

Helen Thomas has just made herself even more of a joke.
Everytime she asks a question now, McClellan should ask her if she's glad she'll die of natural causes.

Darn; there goes my "Draft Cheney to axe the bat" campaign.

I wish a Cheney spokesperson would utter the words, "Helen Thomas should seek professional help." I hereby proclaim myself a Cheney spokesperson...
Helen Thomas should seek professional help.
Now that I've done that, I hereby resign as a Cheney spokesperson.

In my world, I'd have yanked Helen Thomas' White House press credentials.

Yeah and "Bubba" didn't lie.
Poor Helen, she is such a hag and a crone. In a way, I really do feel sorry for her. God forgive me, but she is such a mess.
On the other hand, she's a pain is the a**.
Phew. Feel better now.

I think they should do it now.
She's clearly unstable.
A "security risk".

He should have handed her a Cheney 2008 bumper sticker and a cyanide capsule.

Exactly what I was thinking.
A danger to herself and possibly to others in the White House!
LOL!

Helen Thomas has been brain dead for decades.
Her ugly body just doesn't know it.
