I personally think a lot of terrorist activity goes on in Rome and in all Italy. When I was there several months ago, my credit card number was stolen from regular use in an ATM machine. I had read about it and was on the lookout for signs of it, but didn't see anything to raise my suspicions. Two weeks after I returned, my credit card was used for three withdrawals, all right in a row, in Barcelona. It was not used again. The use of it was disciplined, organized. I suspect it was part of the system in which terrorists get their money. The ubiquitous Gypsies got my traveling companion's wallet, but this was different; part of a different racket.
Before the islamofascists there were others.
That sounds more like plain vanilla organized crime. Ripping numbers off of plastic with devices installed on ATMs and Credit Card swipers goes on all over.
