His rational is that Natalee did not disappear from US Soil. Another missing person, Amy Bradley, who disappeared in the same part of the Carribean, was on a US based cruise ship, so she was allowed on the list.

This does not add up for me. I posted yesterday about a show I had watched about cruise ships. It said no cruise ships are registered in the US. All are registered with other countries. So the claim of Amy Bradley being on a US based cruise ship doesn't make sense to me.

Cruise ships are "registered" in other countries for tax and regulation reasons, but still may be "based" (have a home port) in the U.S.

Amy Bradley...same bar as Natalee Holloway... http://msnbc.msn.com/id/8143921/ And I said, "She's with her brother in the casino." So when they came out, we told her about the waiter wanting to take her off of the ship. And she screwed her mouth up and said, "No way, that's too creepy." We suggested being in a foreign country that they not leave the ship. We came to find out that the same bar that they wanted to take Amy to was the same bar as Natalee Holloway was in.

RGVTx, I don't know anything about cruise ships or US law about putting people on the FBI Missing Persons list, so I don't really know what is going on there. Don't crusie ships usually leave from and report back to the same port, though? Maybe it has to do with which port they're based out of?

If you find an answer, please ping me, I would be interested to know.
