China - Clinton Ping!
Chinese will probably use the time to debrief him of any secrets he hadn't sold them the first time around... /sarcasm
You mean AL GORE, wasn't invited to speak.
"When Bill Clinton ran for president in 1992, he promised that he would not "coddle dictators, from Baghdad to Beijing."( 179K/6 sec. AIFF or WAV sound)"

The check must've cleared.
Do you think Clinton is going there to spread the cause of freedom and demand the communist government allow access to non-filtered news from around the world? "Tear down this firewall." Nah.
I'm betting that the subject of Al Gore inventing the internet will come up.
Yeah. What's his fee?
He's far more disgusting than Carter, who, to give him credit, actually believed in something besides himself (even if he was usually wrong). Clinton, on the other hand, only believes in two things, his inflated sense of himself as the center of all things political and money. Of course when you can't practice law due to your own misconduct, you've got to do something to keep the cash flowing in. Selling himself to the Chinese seems to be the thing. After all, he's done it before.
I wonder who is writing his speech? The Chinese?
I'm not very amused. I live in Chengdu and this is yet another "unidetified" disease to come out of China.
Needless to say, the wife and I are on a strict, rice, veggie and chicken diet...oh yeah, beer too.
He didn't just sell himself to the Red Chinese. He allowed and encouraged the sale of taxpayer-financed defense information (MIRV technology) and took a kickback for his trouble. He should have received what the Rosenbergs got.
"Tear down this firewall."
Brilliant! I'm gonna steal that one for my next blog entry on this. :-)
Slick will most likely donate his speaker's fee to AIDS relief in Africa.
More dollars for Bill. Someday they will have their nuke bill paid.
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lui".
Wonder how much Toon sold himself for?
What's he working for Microsoft and Microsoft's Project China FREEDOM web browser?
