Here's my comment:
"I've been listening to WMAL radio since 9/11 because I felt your station provided the best commentary.
I understand that you have suspended Michael Graham indefinitely because he dared to state his opinion.
You have lost me as a listener until Michael Graham is reinstated."
I sent this e-mail to WMAL today and posted it on another thread. FYI
When the colonist didn't like the way England was treating them, it took some very brave men to say in writing (put their name to it) that King George was a tyrant. If they had not, this country would not be here. Let's move to today. Mr. Graham has been brave and said (put his name to it) that Muslim leaders were complicit in terrorism. If no one says it, this country may not be here tomorrow. We need to acknowledge the enemy.
If Mr. Graham's statements were wrong, it has been how long since 9/11?. . . Why did it take until yesterday for the following to happen?
Yesterday, CAIR and other American Muslim leaders gathered in Washington to announce a fatwah, or religious edict, against terrorism, citing criticisms that Muslim leaders had not said or done enough to curb extremism.
Now, I will continue to listen to WMAL. There is a but. Until Mr. Graham is back on the air, I will take note of all advertisers on your station. I will not use one of their products. I promise! This letter will be posted on FreeRepublic.com.
