While I sympathize with Michael Graham with his CAIR problems, your statement that his 'unpopular' view of Islam being protected by the First Amendment is so much poppycock...
The First Amendment says that the Federal Government may not limit political speech (ahem, Campaign Finance Reform); it says nothing about private companies hiring, firing, suspending their employees about what they say on the job.
Now the managment is chicken, true - but your argument based on referencing the US Consitution is misguided.

This "private company" as you say makes its bread and butter by advertizing (bragging) about their talk show line-up, and how wonderful it is. If these hosts hold back on what they have to say or their topics, we as a listening public lose out. I believe what the First Amendment intended was that we would be able to speak out against the government without fear. Now we have to be concerned about the feathers we have ruffled, who we may have to apologize to someone, or even lose our jobs. Shame on them! In a country that boasts so many freedoms, that talk show hosts should have to live in fear!
