Family Advocate Angry Over Legislature's Pro-Homosexual Move (Homosexuality in Public Schools)

(AgapePress) - A Masschusetts pro-family group is blasting the state legislature for overriding the governor's veto of a 70 percent increase in state funding for homosexual programs in public schools.

Last month, Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney vetoed a $175,000 funding increase for Gay Straight Alliance clubs and school assemblies promoting same-sex "marriage." However, the state legislature, led by House Ways and Means chairman Robert DeLeo, voted to override Romney. Brian Camenker, who heads the Waltham-based group Article 8 Alliance, recalls DeLeo's influence in the matter.

"The chief of staff of this guy [DeLeo] had a phone conversation with me [during which] he talked about, in very graphic ways, how he liked these programs," the pro-family spokesman says.

Camenker notes that the conversation is described on his group's website, but describes its content as "very, very disturbing" -- adding that "that's the kind of culture that's going on in the Massachusetts legislature." And that culture, he contends, exists mainly because the homosexual movement "aggressively lobbies the legislature every single day of the year."

As for the funding approved by the legislature, Camenker expects it will be used to fund such things as the "Little Black Book" -- a graphic how-to manual on homosexual sex that was recently distributed at Massachusetts' Brookline High School -- and other pro-homosexual promotions.

"Gay days in the public schools, assemblies, all kinds of homosexual programs and clubs and handouts and counseling sessions with kids, and their parades, their get-togethers downtown. It's every parent's nightmare," he states.

According to Camenker, DeLeo changed his home phone number after receiving hundreds of phone calls from parents urging him not to override the governor's veto.

This is disgusting.

Yeah, well, boy, that'll show Rick Santorum for trying to say that Massachusetts is pro-homosexual-agenda!

Homosexual Agenda Ping.

Massachusetts is really swirling down the porcelain bowl. I just can't imagine how I'd feel living there. Of course, I should talk - the west coast isn't much better.

Canemaker, as you may recall, was one of the parents who broke open the story of "Fistgate". If you don't know what that is, check this link:

Homosexual Agenda: Categorical Index of Links (Revision 1.1)

It's somewhere there. Plus everything else you ever wanted to know about homosexuality - the agenda, the causes, and the fact that there are tens of thousands (at least) of former homosexuals.

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

I suppose they'll have the kids smoking cigarettes next. It's safer than eating poop.

Only in Mass is it possible to 'legally' psychologically rape children and 'legally' fiscally rape a nation... Both by cultivating, glorifying and servicing a physical hole for all its worth (the big dig is but one of the holes they love in en masse in Mass)

I wonder if it's possible to exorcise an entire state.

This is happening at the level of who gets elevated by the party to run for the legislative & senatorial seats.

My sense is that these are stealth gay supporters. I find it hard to believe that the majority of Mass. supports this.

Yes, it does. It is a combination of: voter irresponsibility, media power, and incumbency power, and probably some other things I'm forgetting.

Isn't Mass. a staunchly Catholic area?

It would have to be CINO for them to allow fisting manuals in school for their children...

They've been the center of the worst priest abuse scandals....I think O'Reilly was saying that the other day.

You wonder what people must be thinking when they go to the polls.

If I had to choose between a guy who'd take my job and pension, but protect my unborn and morally look out for my kids, and another guy who'd guarantee my job and pension, but kill my unborn and sexually manhandle my kids, then it's an easy decision.

I'd take it as God calling me to make my own living independent of businesses and social security.

My thoughts exactly.

The little jeremiahs already make their living that way. We're hermits anyway.

What's more important - life and virtue, or money? One can always figure out a way to earn a living. Much of what people think they "need" they don't really need anyway. It's amazing what can be pared away, and then you find that not only you didn't need that thing/service/toy/appliance/entertainment but your life is simpler and happier without it.

You got that right. Here in our "safe, little southern town, everyone thought this type of thing would never occur here. Well, one of our local, county schools got a new principal this year. He's gay, and not afraid for anyone to know.
What blows my mind is that even people within my own church congregation are still going to allow their kids to go there this year! They "can't afford" to send their kids to the Christian academy, or just couldn't imagine home schooling their kids as we have done for 7 years now.
Talk about messed up priorities.
