The Village Voice has already gone into full-blown attack mode against anyone and everyone-Democrat, Republican, or unaffiliated-who they perceive as being an impediment to Shrillary's ultimate 2008 coronation and the resumption of the Clinton presidency, after the brief Bush interregnum.
From the recently published hit piece on Ed Klein authored by Sydney Schanberg-who's usually an astute, relatively honest investigative journalist-to the conspiratorial, reflexively anti-GOP ravings of resident nutter James Ridgeway, to the ad hominem attacks tossed off by their culturally psychophrenic staff writer, Richard Goldstein, the Voice has already erected a phalanx against any perfectly legitimate inquiries made by individuals or groups who may doubt that Madame Hillary is sincere in her purported convictions.
Like every other leftist house media organ-without exception-that is in the process of shilling for her 2008 candidacy, they believe-incorrectly or not-that she is the salvation of the contemporary Democratic Party.
Defeating her-from their persepctive-would be the political equivalent of introducing genuine market-based reforms into the Social Security system, or achieving any other enormous, conservative-oriented policy victory.
It would be a death blow for the Democrats, which is why every Dem. Party apparatchik, every external, nominally independent "think" tank, such as the laughably named Center For American Progress, and in the case of the Village Voice, every platform for socialist thought that can exert even a marginal impact upon the American polity, will resort to anything; whether it be dissimulation, slander, libel, evasion, or any of a host of other purely diversionary tactics, in order to ensure that she is nominated and that she wins.
Period, end of sentence, end of discussion.

The first column records some typical things "Freepers" say. The second records what the same Freeper said after the Senate voted cloture on the president's bankruptcy bill.
I've looked for the things attributed and the poster and I can't find them. Have you looked for them? I personally believe finding such a thing should be important in this instance.
Whoever is being quoted should be sought out. They may not even be active and worse scenarios come to mind.

I've read the thread and I can't believe nobody is wondering who those quotes are attributed to.
Hey 'Pod, that's an interesting "To:" you have there at #244. Who knew!

Hillary deserves to have everything about her past thrown at her when she runs.
Her travel office attempts to jail innocent Federal employees to her pretty in pink (my husband doesn't mess around, this is a right wing conspiracy) statements.
Isn't she married to the former President who let Bin Laden go several times and gave China rocket and missile guidance technology so they can all nuke us?
This is a bad, weak politician who is surrounded by the press and most liberals with a wall of protection to keep her away from her own past.
If anything, she is the expert at running while not running or speaking to anything of substance.
When a person wants to become President, the idea of a total pass goes out the window despite what the Sodomites want.
Hillary is nothing more than a shadow that needs to have light shined upon her so she disappears from contention.

Losing Bin Laden

I just purchased the book several weeks ago.
It should make for some interesting reading.

When people stray from the party line, it's not unusual for them to be bannedheh... this asshat needs to look at my Profile page and rethink.
But I prefer it that he does not - I like it when mine enemy deceives himself so awfully.

Still haven't received my marching orders. Been waiting 6 years, and they never do show up.
There is more difference of opinion on more issues on this Forum than anywhere else.

Note the severe shortage of ideas in this piece that brags about their wealth of ideas. In fact, they only promote one idea: buy the votes of the middle and lower classes. To do so, of course, they must continually take more money (thanks to the consistent growth of the voter rolls). There is are hundreds of methods to increase federal revenues, but that does not mean that they have hundred of ideas.

They were posted by "middie", a long-time freeper (Nov 28, 1993). See

Middie, you're famous!!! How'd you get to be the spokesperson for FR?
To: middie
Interesting that the school projects comment can't be found within two months of the comment on bankruptcy. How long has Perlman been stalking you, middie?
To: Teacher317
errrr, make that Nov 23, 1998... Unless middie was here a few years before JR! ;^)

Proud to be a Freeper bump.

I'm impressed, though I'll admit I didn't spend too much time looking for it.
