We want to sell in these markets, too. Think Washington Apples.

Who will be able to afford to buy them? The average income for the people there is pretty low. Will we artificially lower the price of these Washington apples, so they can afford them? How will the producers of these apples make a profit selling below cost?

What else does America still produce that can be sold to these countries? Most of the goods that we consume are now made in foreign countries. Exactly what are we exporting that Chileans, Columbians, etc, want or can afford?

If I want hand crafted native artifacts, I can already get them, mostly at the swapmeet : (
