PLAME 'RETIREMENT' STRICTLY VOLUNTARY (ACT: no question Plame falsified FEC form)

A liberal activist group.....said it appears that outed CIA agent Valerie Plame supplied the false information that she was "retired" when she bought two tickets to a Bruce Springsteen anti-Bush concert......
"We would not have filled something in," said an official of America Coming Together, noting that each ticket buyer was asked to list employer and job for federal election reports because it was a political event.
The $372 ticket purchase is the first revelation that Plame participated in anti-Bush activity while working for the CIA. Her husband, former diplomat Joseph Wilson, told Time.com that she "doesn't recall listing herself as retired."
Plame who was still a CIA staffer but on a leave of absence last fall used Ticketmaster to buy the two tickets in her married name of Valerie Wilson, the ACT official said.
Plame's anti-Bush ticket purchases raised eyebrows among Republicans.
"......Plame has the right to support anyone she wants, but she and her husband can't continue to pose as nonpartisan, public-spirited citizens," said Rep. Peter King (R-L.I.).

Because it was a political activity where the cost of the ticket were going to the candidate.
Go make a donation online. You are asked for your employer and occupation. The fact that Plame hid her employment with the CIA can either be construed as attempting to hide her partisanship or her employement with the CIA.
Still, whoever found this nugget is very good!

The concert was a fund-raiser for Kerry's campaign---buying a ticket was considered a donation to his campaign.

In spite of all the lies by the MSM. GW is still our president. However, most of the MSM is suffering incredible financial difficulties and are firing staff across the land.
Newsweek's ad sales were so low, they had to combine two weeks to get enough ad $'s.
Their lies are destroying them not GW.

Could it be that the reason the "CIA" wanted an investigation of this supposed outing by Novak was about building a "wall" so that President Bush could NOT ask questions?
That was a well practiced method of operation used more than once by the Clintons, get themselves an investigation so they could control what got leaked. Also would prevent President Bush from asking any questions about what the .ell was going on.

RECAP of Plame's violations:
(1) Falsified FEC form
(2) Violated the Hatch Act prohibiting politicking by federal employees
(3) Possibly falsified CIA reports concerning her political (or other) activities
(4) Hid her employment with the CIA for political reasons
(5) Violated CIA rules and regs regarding politicking
(6) Hid partisan activities to deceive her employer

Liz doesn't want to mention that a lot of Bush supporters attended these concerts. So making the "concert attendance/Kerry support" connection doesn't quite wash.
I was there. There were a number of Bush supporters who attended the concert in DC and came across the street to thank us. I guess they had to fill out these FEC forms showing support for Kerry as well.

Apples and oranges-----those concert-goers were not covert CIA operatives violating CIA rules and regs, and the Hatch Act, nor are they and their husbands currently under intense scrutiny.

So was it illegal for Plame to attend the Springsteen concert? I wonder how many Bush supporters dutifully filled out their FEC forms in support of Kerry?
If ANY government official tries to prosecute Plame over this they will be laughed out of town.
Not taking seriously the filling out an FEC form for the purpose of attending a concert is just CHILLING!</SARCASM>
There is SO much more to hang Wilson and Plame over. This is a distraction.
