To: The Mayor
I was unopposed in the primary until the local rino's twisted or threatened someone to run against me.

Ah...another reason it is very diffuclt to raise money. It is amazing how many people verbally support a candidate but will not contribute if it's a primary because they are afraid of "offending" the other person... (or fear that they will lose some clout if the other person wins) I know candidates here who can tell you who, what how much etc. someone gave to the opposition and they hold a grudge for years. How petty!

If you get past the primary bet you'll have a much better fundraising tool. (That's kind of where we were at the first time Mr. D. ran...he was the grassroots thing who went against the party establishment. It was tough!)

I know, it is a battle here but with the tax revolt that we started, people are finally seeing what these supposed parties are doing to opponents.

There is an anti incumbent, anti party endorsed biased growing ever stronger everyday.

Which of course is good for me. Every article in the papers that shows what they are doing and my response is a good thing.
