That makes two of us I guess...

Very little politics, well choreographed battle sequences, and no discussion of Zarqawi's psyche/ other "root causes" of terrorism - however, I do think the characters are a bit cliched (except I really liked Sgt. Scream).

The sexuality of the opening scene, the pot-smoking soldier, the language! All of it is just too much! This should be on cable, not on network tv. Why is Botch-ko always involved with controversial stuff? Why is he always so over-the-top? Whatever happened to the FCC ruling on language, etc? Why does it all go out the window whenever Botch-ko is involved?

The training takes over and then they are amazed at how well they actually performed.

You're right. I meant the cable that costs even more, such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc.

This show wasn't even on broadcast television. It was on FX, on cable where the FCC hasn't quite slapped its Government-Mandated Totalitarian Black Bars of Censorship yet.
