Yep. I got to try one out last week. The cartridge looks almost 2 times as big as a .44 magnum. It kicks harder than a 12 guage! I wouldn't like to be anywhere near the business end of that beast.

What's interesting is that a very similar round, the 500 Linebaugh long (actually .510 caliber), has been around for decades now as a custom modification in revolvers. Instead of using the 500 linebaugh long S&W had to come up with there own so it could be called the 500 S&W mag.
