We were in some restaurant in Petaluma or somewhere... Polish or Hungarian joint... you order an entire dinner and it comes with all the extras.
We ordered something and my wife liked the soup that came with the meal - some sort of cream soup. The waiter asked her "you like tongue?"
She replies, "I haven't had it since I was a kid."
He points to the soup bowl and says "that's tongue soup."
Ha. Forgetting your "roots." But he was correct - it was *delicious.*
Well, delicious and *expensive* in that case... Ha.
