I met a gentleman in 1983 who had escaped Eastern Europe and now lived in Shepardstown. He's probably dead by now since he was quite elderly when I met him. So I have no problem identifying where he lived. I thought the man was a lunatic, very nice and cordial, but lunatic all the same. He told me fantastic stories about the coming US and world policies, the UN, Europe and Russia. He told me about the currancy changes, and one world progression.

Remindsm e of my German teacher, he passed away in 1993 (went to his funeral) but I had him during high school (1982-85) and he told us how it was the plan to tear down the US with lax morals and lulling us to sleep and so on. He thought perestroika in the USSR and the fall after could have been a ruse. I dunno about that but I often wonder about that. I wish he was still alive, would have loved to hear his take on NAFTA/GATT/CAFTA along with 9-11 and so on. He was a very devout Catholic so I think he would have saw the war on terror as a religious and ideological war as many do see here.

A side note, when I was developing pictures, I ran into a lady who was in her 50's to hwere her father said a lot of the same things as far back as the 1950's and 1960's about "The New World Order" and implanting computer chips into people and so on. You know what, I am beginning to think the tin-foilers are right on some things although I admit many of their theories are like a Rube Goldberg machine but I don't deny there are a group of superpowerful men in the world who want to have their way if they could.
