"Just the fact that Johnson was claiming a reduction of terrorism within the last few years prior to 9/11, when more high-profile attacks were occuring against "American" targets, indicates some disconnect with reality. And that doesn't even include those attacks that were thwarted."
On one of his sites he has huge charts to prove his points. LOL
That he could say that there was less terrorism in the Middle East than in South American, etc., just shows how loony tunes he is.
That the media continue to give him face time, just shows how they will use ANYBODY to forward their anti-America agenda.
Remember, Bill Burkett had been institutionalized for mental illness--and still CBS (and a million other DNC organs) still used him as a trusted source.
bump
Funny you should say that. I was just thinking how both of them have the same belligerent, vulgar speech pattern, sort of how a pansy-type person imagines how tough guys talk.
I haven't seen his charts...and he may be right about "international" terrorism and specific events being reduced. However, this is disingenuous when you consider that "America" had been increasingly targeted for terrorism over the last decade.
Whether is was the first WTC attack in 1993, the military instals in Saudi, the US Embassies in Africa, the USS Cole, etc., America was obviously more vulnerable. Not to mention those attacks we stopped, like the Millenium/bridge and airport plots.
But what's worse is that Johnson is saying these things when Clinton had his fingers in so many people's pies, angering many people, and even getting a declaration of war from UBL, himself. If these people were reading the Arab press (as our media eagerly reports on when Bush is in office) they would've seen extreme outrage from Arabs over what they even called Clinton's wag-the-dog efforts to cover for his domestic "affair."
Clinton's attacks on Afghanista, Sudan and Iraq created a great backlash from the Muslim world. Yet, our media (like the CIA) failed to report the hornet's nest that Clinton was stirring up, creating a false sense of security...which Johnson perpetuates, here. The fact that this wasn't expected from these people is what is scary.
These types are worse than negative influences.. Wonder how bad the FBI, BATF and other agencys were effected too.?.
You are exactly right. As phony as a three dollar bill. I suspect their patriotism is measured by the highest bidder.
