Hard-hitting article, really a stop-and-think moment. Looking forward to the next article...

An excellent article. I have come to the conclusion, no matter what your belief system, you should be Bible literate. It is an important book. I might add it is better if you can read Hebrew and Koine Greek.
My granddad used to say, " A man should live his life in such a manner that he could look any man in the face and tell him to go to Hell."

Good article. Thanks for posting it.
When he mentions the veterans, it reminded me of the last election, and how I wrestled with the idea of whether or not to put a campaign sticker on my car. I live close to a very liberal and hostile city, and was worried about my vehicle being vandalized. Then, during a trip "home," I visited my grandfather, a veteran, and generally a decent, good guy. Just spending a few minutes with him and getting his perspective on the state of the union made me ashamed of ever even having debated the stupid sticker, which was put on as soon as I returned home.

My 18 year old daughter, a member of campus crusade and college republicans, had her car vandalized twice, we think, because of two Bush stickers. She continues to exhibit those stickers.

My car did not get vandalized, at least not in any damaging way. I did find liberal propoganda under my windshield wipers a few times, and someone put a Kerry sticker over my W sticker once while parked downtown. But other than that, I only received the occassional finger and blaring car horn while in traffic, which were always returned with a smile and the "four more years" hand gesture.

I couldn't put a bumpersticker on my car, because (living in Northern NJ) someone would do something and I would have to beat the hell out of them, and then I'd go to jail.

LOL
I share your concerns. There was a thread on FR yesterday about vandals setting fire to a car belonging to the family of soldier killed in Iraq. They did so using the flags displayed outside the family's house.
I'd be arrested after they pulled me off the pulpy mess of what would be left of the vandal.

Get some sort of pro-2A sticker.
Trust me, the vandalism will stop.

If they are from New Jersey why do they need to do anything, they already deserve it.
