If someone can tune me in to alternative "conservative" movie festivals, I would really be interested.
The only movie I'm going to go see between now and Christmas will be The Great Raid. Based on a true story from WW2, it is set in the Philippines toward the end of the war. A company of Rangers is sent far behind enemy lines to liberate a POW camp from under the noses of several thousand Japanese soldiers. Until Jessica Lynch was rescued two years ago, this was the last successful rescue of American POW's from behind enemy lines. The previews look excellent and the reviews are highly favorable, I just hope the movie lives up to expectations.
