" Stop projecting. You know nothing about me or if I have any personal interest in CAFTA passing. It's your side that's serving up the venom. Just look at your last post."

So do you guys have a boiler-room type of setup or do you just use FReepMail. "Economically literate" = "shut up you ignorant peasant, we'll run your life". The truth is that you're the one "projecting". You have a "good idea" what will happen. I'm sure you do have a good idea and that idea is to damage this country as much as you can while profitting from the damage.

That's pretty funny. But you still haven't offered one fact as to how this agreement will damage our country or, maybe how NAFTA has hurt our country or, how increased economic freedom negatively impacts per-capita GDP?

The fact that the government can tell me I have to pay two to three times the world price for sugar is a prime example of someone telling me they know better than I do. That you defend this is inconsistent with the freedom of choice you seem to support.

Tariffs are taxes. Removing these barriers to trade increases trade. This in turn increases individual wealth and government receipts. How can you say you are for freedom yet advocate in favor of allowing the government to take more of our money by imposing tariffs on what we buy?

The best thing about CAFTA is that it removes the tariffs the member countries currently impose on our exports. Why is increasing exports of American goods and services bad?
