Well, Jorge, you are entitled to your opinion-as are we all- but you are WRONG, IMO.
We HAVE a religious war- because it has been declared so by those doing the attacking. They know why they are doing it- because their 'religion' commands them to.
And- you'd HAVE to take passages from the the Bible OUT of context to support violence like Islam is perpetrating. The Koran is being taken IN CONTEXT. It is being literally obeyed. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable, but its still true.
Islam was a 'world religion' of millions when it attacked Europe and sparked off the Crusades in retaliation. Why should it's status or numbers make it any less guilty now when it is doing the SAME THING?
What is it about a 'religious war' that scares you so badly you'd rather call one anything but that? This IS a militant religion against all others on the planet. Calling it something other than a religious war might make you feel better, but it doesn't change what it is- any more than calling a pit bull a canary would make it sing.

You're the one who's so scared by terrorism that you are promoting the paranoia that the entire religion of Islamists is out to kill us.

President Bush rejects your arguments that attempt turn the war on terrorism into a war on an entire religion, just as every responsible world leader does.
And President Bush is without a doubt the number one leader in the war against terrorism.
