read the links I posted above - the Drawing Center is going someplace else. the Museum is next, but that's going to be harder.

in my opinion, I would like to see the whole project scrapped now. there should be no building there, just a memorial and that's it.

Don't need to read the links. I work in downtown Manhattan and read about this often.

I am aware that the Drawing Center doesn't want any restrictions and is seeking to move to a nearby location. I'm not as certain as you that the IFC is "next". I think Pataki may be trying to garner some acceptance for a "watered-down" IFC here...but I'll wait to see the comments in context.

I read the articles. They do not say the Drawing Center IS going someplace else. They say the Drawing Center is looking for another location because of the pressure they have been receiving.

Meaning...it is time to increase the pressure as much as possible. Time to email all involved...and those who should get involved like our congressmen and our President. If we don't turn up the heat now, we are likely to regret it when Ground Zero is dishonored with a PC museum telling us what we should think about 9/11. The 'Blame America First' crowd is hard at work. Time for us to get in gear.
