i have no sign, but will bring my video camera for as long as the battery lasts... would you recommend driving all the way in or taking the metro...

i will be coming from the eastern shore and route 50... was thinking about wearing pink to infiltrate the commies for some fun footage... but will respect their space... limited battery life.

I avoid Metro at all costs; some people like it. If you do come in your POV, take Route 50 to the Beltway, Beltway towards Silver Spring/Rockville/College Park (NOT towards WW Bridge). Take Georgia Avenue SOUTHBOUND exit, and stay on Georgia Ave for just about 2 miles, and you will see the Armed Forces Recruiting Center on the right, set back a bit from the street in a small, one-story strip of stores.

Walter Reed is only another mile down Georgia Avenue, BTW (Just a couple of blocks off the bottom of this map); which makes our double-header Freep that much easier.
