I'm curious whether you're still using acetone in your gas tank. If so, have you noticed any excessive wear on the engine or any other adverse effects?

What octane fuel do you use? I heard you will notice a difference with regular unleaded, but the most significant increase is with high octane.

According to Smartgas.com 3-4 oz/10 gals is the optimum amount.

Thanks

I add about 9 ml for every gallon which is a tad less than 3 oz per 10 gal.

I have seen no problems. Since I have started - I have gone through ~ 3 gallons of acetone total in various vehicles. A Ford Explorer (I still run this vehicle - but not as much as I used to)
A Dodge Spirit that I sold....still runs good, but it doesn't get any acetone anymore...
A Ford Aspire that does good with acetone
A Hundai that does good with acetone.

All these vehicles run with acetone in the gas every time I buy gas (almost everytime) and there is no problems with gas lines, or rubber/plastic components. I have noticed no problems in any vehicle because of acetone.

I have noticed that some of my vehicles (Aspire) gets noticably better milage when I use the 87 octane gasoline (gasoline with no ethanol) instead of the 89 octane that has 10% ethanol mixture.
