Simple, some GOPers fantasize that a conservative black woman would be a brilliant choice of nominee, because she's black and female and therefore PC enough to beat Shrillary. What they fail to see, as your questions point out, is that a) we have no idea what her politics are and b)a black woman ain't getting elected president anytime soon.
If I had to choose (and hopefully we'll get a chance), I'd like to see this Senator Coburn or possibly John Cornyn make a good run...both are strong conservatives and have backbones!
I know I'm pipe dreaming, but I'd like to see a real hero emerge and run as a third party and blow all these clowns and their racket out of the water.
For the most part, yes.
I'm assuming the 2nd Amendment is not one of your big issues?
You assume wrong. But no single issue (or three) will make my decision, rather it is based on the totality and circumstances. How extreme Giuliani remains on issues such as gun bans and registration will be a factor in whether or not he wins the nomination.
As someone from the New York area who has followed Guiliani for many years, I can assure you that he is an absolute extremist when it comes to violating the 2nd Amendment.
In my opinion, this is just media bias trying to influence Republicans. Newt has the best ideas. Allen sounds like a lightweight. Anyone who has run NYC sucessfully doesn't have to try out in the blowhard club of the Senate.
That's too bad, at least for Rudy, since the Senate is the only higher office he has any hope of attaining.
