Great article by Weinbaum! I will disagree with only one thing. A fatwah issued by one Muslim against another means nothing.
I used to hang out in Washington Watch chat, but the hatred got to be too much for me. I prefer FR.
Freeper threads are loaded with hatred ("death to your religion and your traitorous politics"), but I agree with what you're saying in that so many of the other forums either have more hatred or (worse) are boring.
As for the shape the Freerepublic is in, I console myself with the belief that most freepers are sane, and all this noise is coming from a few loony freepers.
