When I lived in Japan we used to buy some crackers that were seaweed, osimbe, I believe. I cannot get them in the US but they were good to munch on and a good alternative to chips.

I just checked your flag - mmm, I don't know if there are any Trader Joe's stores in that area. They sell several kinds of Japanese crackers and many of them have seaweed in them.

I like them too. But what I really like is toasted nori, in fact I can hardly control myself around it! Many of the people who make fun of seaweed might like toasted nori. When I used to live in Hawaii sometimes I would collect seaweed, soak and wash it, chop it up with stuff and eat it.
