Larry Johnson, ex-CIA who wrote a letter to the NYT in July 2001 that Americans were too concerned with terrorism and we should worry instead about nukes.
There is definitely a rogue element within the CIA, intent with bringing down the administration.

There is definitely a rogue element within the CIA, intent with bringing down the administration. And in the State Dept. and the military itself (eg. Wesley Clark). Just being involved with the CIA is no guarantee of expertise, honesty or loyalty.
And this group of soi dissant 'Veteran Intelligence Professionals' against current US policy sounds about as sincere as 'Crackheads for Bush'. I suppose you could round up a few of those also. What next -- 'Quakers For A Stronger Military'???

Peach, you said it best on last Sunday's Talk Show Thread re Larry Johnson's wildly inaccurate July, 2001 NYT article: "Now we know WHY Larry Johnson is an EX-cia officer" (or words to that effect).
BTW, I agree completely with you that we have a rogue element within the CIA, and I hope that Porter Goss's counterintelligence folks find them fast, and bring them to justice quickly.
