From July 22 New York Times: "Democrats who have been eager to focus attention on the case [Plame leak] have urged reporters to look into the role of several other administration officials, including John R. Bolton, who was then under secretary of state for arms control and international security and has since been nominated by Mr. Bush to be ambassador to the United Nations. " NBC News has now reported that Bolton, indeed, testified before the Rovegate Grand Jury about the Top Secret/Noforn memo that contained Valerie [Plame] Wilson's name. Other State Department officials testifying included Colin Powell and other undersecretaries, likely including INR chief Carl W. Ford and Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.
