That's too bad. He might not have seen the thread I had posted (and that was pulled), and he might have just been trying to do what some (like Howlin) suggested he do--post that email as a separate thread.

Since MM supplied the email headers, etc., it would be a pretty elaborate hoax, since it was Johnson's email

I am specially sensitive to this since I was banned from one of my favorite sites 7 months ago through a spoofed series of email.
Everyone swore that it was my IP, etc, even thought that was impossible.

So I don't need convincing: it is possible.

Some more VIPS in action, including Johnson and Cannistraro back in August 2004 on the Goss nomination. This politization of the Agency is without precedent. Michael Scheuer, the ex-CIA man who wrote the book Imperial Hubris while still working at the Agency is another example of rogue agents who have become political partisans and are cashing in on their "insider" knowledge. Congress needs to crack down on these crackpots.

That's a good idea. But clicking on the CIA Leak thing at the top of the FR front page is really handy.

CIALEAK as a keyword really narrows the material down. You probably already know this.
