"the rage would be unlike anything the world has ever witnessed."

I'm still advocating a demonstration of "shock and awe" which will also be "unlike anything the world has ever witnessed." . . . and it should be done pre-emptively. I see this exactly as Harry S. Truman saw the necessity for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was indeed terribly brutal to innocent Japanese civilians, but so was our carpet bombing of German cities, particularly Dresden, Leipzig and Hamburg, but those drastic military assaults did indeed save untold numbers of lives.

We should do the same thing with islamofascism. I would suggest selected military-industrial (nuclear, WMD) facilities in Iran, as well as possibly flattening Damascus........for openers. Then see about how peaceful the "religion of peace" suddenly becomes.

For those who argue that we can't do anything like that for fear of "provoking" these people, I say......nonsense. Their 1,400 blood-and-death cult was built on rationalizing brutal assaults from concocting how "provoked" they were, concerning how it was, through 14 centuries, that non-Muslims even existed! That's the whole MO - wipe out everyone unlike themselves and then send the entire planet back to the 7th century. If we want to save our civilization, we must destroy them. It is that simple, and we aren't going to do that by sitting around waiting to be attacked again, so that we will have a "reason" for finally eradicating their centers of power and funding - Iran, Syria and.......alas.....Saudi Arabia. Too bad for those "royals" who aren't part of extreme Wahhabi. It's them or us.

Thanks for your strong comments, kalee.
