Not true. And alkies think the booze helps their creativity.

The smell of marijuana makes me want to throw up. Alcohol at least doesn't stink.

I can name a lot of great authors who were drunks.

Two stoners come to mind. Keasey and Hunter. (flames will be ignored, unless you want to argue that Hunter was a drunk not a stoner)

No puritans come to mind.
