Pennsylvania can be proud to have at least one unindicted public servant who opposes Bush's counterproductive war in Iraq rather than supporting it. Of course, Lt. Gov. Knoll supports grunts in the military which is why she attended the funeral in Indiana County.

OTOH Bush doesn't attend many of these affairs and he promotes an unnecessary war that has destroyed the lives of over 1730 US men and women, not to mention the uncounted tens of thousands of Iraqi noncombatants.

Let's honor those dead by seeking a prompt end to Bush's ungodly Iraq war!

MurryMom--so, you're back. And to what do we owe this pretentious visit?

Did you get fired from Moveon.org?

They're not "affairs", they're FUNERALS.
Funerals are for the families, not for self-serving politicians. No president since Eisenhower has attended the funerals of fallen soldiers.

We can assume by your comments that you also condemned FDR's unnecessary war with Germany and the hundreds of thousands of American males that died because of "Roosevelt's war"?

Troll alert!

You'd engage in behavior like that at a stranger's funeral?!

And just what party do all those who were "indicted" belong to? Same as yours, I assume. The big D - which stands for Dumb

Which, by the way, is exactly what your apparent namesake in Congress was chosen 3 times- the "dumbest" Senator in Congress. Gotta make ya feel proud, huh?

Bush doesn't attend these "affairs", because they are funerals, not party "functions" or political "affairs", and he has the respect and decency to know that his presence would turn them into something else and doesn't want to turn them into a political forum... something Lt. Guv Knoll seems to not have even the slightest comprehension of. "Decency", that is. Talk about D for "dumb"!

Let's honor those dead by seeking a prompt end to Bush's ungodly Iraq war!

Are you so mentally deranged as to not have any better understanding of reality than this? Ummmm, oh yeah, you already illustrated that complete lack of functioning brain cells by allying yourself with "dumb and dumber" Patty.

Like the guy said, "Whatta maroon!"

To: MurryMom; All

Ah, I see we have an agitator amongst us...

First of all, by President Bush taking the war to the middle east (Iraq) he is keeping most of the terrorists were we want them and not here. I would not call this counterproductive, even as painful as it may be. Believe me, I don't want our boys dying over there, but there is a price to be paid to keep our republic safe and by-God there is nothing in this world that I have received for free that was worth a damn.

Second of all, the issue isn't whether she supports or not Bush's unGodly war, nor is it that she supports or not our grunts over there. The issue in question is the fact that she not only was campaigning against the war but that she was handing out friggin' business cards! AT A FUNERAL! I don't think even ALGORE has that kinda stones to match a possums brain.

Its been said already but I'll say it again...Our president doesn't attend these "Functions" or "Affairs" as you call them, because they are a private time for the family to mourn and honor the legacy of their fallen son or daughter. He has the decency to contact the family quietly and behind the scenes, a lot of the time in person and without the cameras.

Finally, lets honor those who have given their all for our great country by getting the job done and getting home. We all have seen from Gulf War I that an unfinished job comes back to bite us.
