Israel has only a few foreign languages to worry
about. UK cops can hardly be expected to know all
the languages of the former Empire, much random
langs of people not even from a former colony.

Israel has only a few foreign languages to worry about.

Israel is the melting pot of the world. Yesterday I recall hearing Hebrew, American, British (no it is not the same), Russian, French, Japanese, Arabic, Ethopian, South African and Pidgin from Paupua New Guinna spoken in my presense. As Israel is the melting pot of the world, with immigrants from everywhere, there are more languages spoken here than anywhere in the world.

Just a street observation for you, Israel is indeed an interesting place.
