I didn't know this was in the movie. If it is for the purpose of bringing to the attention of everyone, that these guys are s-bags that's one thing, if it is in the order of other scatological humor that seems to permeate SNL and other similare comedies then I'll not see this movie.

It was to show that the guys are scumbags (who are later redeemed and who renouce their preying upon of women as scummy).

It is a South Parkian conservative movie --- in short, hypocrits beware.

No, the context is that these guys are desperate to use every sleazy tactic possible to get sympathy sex from gullible bridesmaids.

It shows them in a downward spiral until they hit rock-bottom and then try to clean up their act.

One of the elements in that downward spiral is to sport fake military decorations, make up stories about deceased loved ones, etc.
