I also noticed one shot of PVDS carrying a plastic bag with a handle and sticking out the top of the bag was a pair of sandals with mud on them. Surely the mud from the sandals can be compared to the mud in the pond if those sandals were at all involved.

the missing shoe was news to me, i hadn't heard of it previously, but it makes sense given the theories i have heard propounded on this thread about him losing it while burying the body.

Just dumb luck. Happened to be looking in the right place/right time.

I think the bag may have contained Joran's stuff. Possibly his father was taking his belongings from the jail.

OTOH, it could've been his own stuff since he too was jailed for a time.

It's hard to know because no context was provided for that video clip.
