Would you please expand upon your assertion that the shoe is important. I am trying to understand its full significance.

I know you didn't post to me, but I'll tell you what Josey Mansour said on Greta tonight...He said that the pond they are now draining was very muddy on the evening that Natalie disappeared. He said that if someone(Joran) walked into the mud, they would have lost their shoe.

Have you ever walked in deep mud, and have it suck your shoe off? Why would JvdS be walking in deep mud?

Can I answer?

Cops know Joran lost a shoe - Joran has not been able to explain where he lost the shoe. Joran has never claimed to be near or that close to the Racquet Club the night Natalee came up missing. If they find shoe then Joran is once again caught in a lie and where they find the shoe they may find Natalee or something that belonged to her.

Also Joran told police he walked home that night. Surely he did not walk home barefooted or with just one shoe on. It a long a rough walk. ALE still does not know how Joran got home, but they don't believe he walked home.

Why thank you for asking Palladin! (o:

The island is dry and scrubby. If he walked miles to his home, with only one shoe, and tried to replace a "lost shoe", it could be very damaging. Especially if anyone noticed sores on his foot. That's doubtful tho, since it took 11 days to arrest him. Maybe the authorities looked at his feet.

Maybe I am grasping here. I just want so much for this family to have answers. I am hopeful tonight tho.
