Chances are is sand with "some" muck, but not much. - I doubt it is muddy in a sense like how most of us have dirt/mud in our yards unless you live close to the coast.

I would think Aruba's water table
is quite high, considering they are
so low in elevation & like New Orleans
bury their dead above ground.

A high water table would mean very
muddy ground.
