He's pulling a lot of the strings. His family controls the island, don't they? They want to get back to business. I think a lot of eyes are closed to 'normal' activities. But this went beyond what was acceptable. If he's really a mobster, I don't know why he didn't just make some kind of example to Joran's family. I really wonder what's going on in the background. Also, do the families talk to Jossy, or are they keeping their distance?

What if---Joran is in jail to protect him from Jossy and his minions? They crossed the line, and there's punishment to be had, but if he's in jail and the whole world knows there can't be an accident in jail?
