"In a message to his superiors, revealed here for the first time, Zarqawi offered his estimate that after three years of joint combat, Iraqi insurgents ought to be capable of running the guerrilla war against the Americans on their own."
That's a crock! News broke about 2 weeks ago that Al Zarkawi had fled Iraq. That's "FLED," as in "ran away." His nutballs aren't "winning." They are simply killing hundreds of average Iraqis who only want a chance at freedom and democracy. Nothing suggests that Al Qaeda's thugs are winning anything, certainly not the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people.
George W. Bush's policies are doing that!

If anything, Al Qaeda is giving up on Iraq and figure they'd have much better luck striking at the softer west where they stand a better chance of getting the public to buckle under and surrender. They were wrong on the Brits, but who knows what would happen if they strike france or germany.

Weekly 214 reported that al Qaeda was diluting its Iraq force for a major terror offensive in Europe and Middle East engineered by Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and on its recommendation. Well, they haven't stopped it here yet.
Less than an hour ago, there was a HUGE blast nearby...and it had all the markings of Zarq's style.
They hit a checkpoint very close to where I am.
