You know, I don't know why everybody is hyperventilating over what Tancrendo said (well outside of the leftists, race hustlers, and Islamists). Dick Cheney made the same nuclear threat right before we invaded Iraq. A FR search would turn it up, because I know I read a few articles here.

I guess when the V.P. makes the threat, it's okay.

I know what you mean: the word "Republican" is like the word "Christian"; it makes noncommital people uneasy sometimes when you refer to them as that.
