I agree. It has aggravated me that every time a politician addresses terrorism his objective is to convince us that the government will protect us. That's fine, but I am not helpless ... let me help. I volunteered my services to the state of Pennsylvania after 9/11, but they never so much as sent me an Email saying 'no thanks'.
Me too. I have deep respect for President Bush, and understand what he and other leaders mean when they say we should go on with our lives. But they are doing a disservice to the public by treating us children who need to be patted on the head and sent into the other room so we don't hear the adults' worried conversation.

Get real. Organizing ourselves allow us to chuck all the BS. And the bureaucrats can interfere at their own risk.
