I know it's not normal, but lately I've found myself thinking about God and our governor .

I'd like to blame the weather ... but the truth is a bit more embarrassing ... I've been reading muscle magazines.

... at the very end of the article, I came across this exchange:

M&F: You're probably the most famous person in the world. When you think about your life, do you sometimes have to pinch yourself?

Arnold: I'm not a religious fanatic, but I've thought many times that only God could pave the way for the life I've had. ...For me everything seemed to happen at the right time. Like having the recall election, which has never happened in the history of the state, come up at the time it did. If it had been just a few months earlier, my commitments to making and promoting T3 would have made it impossible for me to enter. So the signal was clear. It (the recall) was meant for me; it was not meant for anyone else. It was like a higher being said this guy would probably have a problem going through a Republican primary because of him being a moderate on social issues. When you look back at my life and how it has progressed step by step, it's difficult not to think that it was not all laid out and planned by a higher being.

God set up the recall because he wanted California to have a Republican governor who was a moderate on social issues?

I've grown used to hearing people talk as if God is a Republican, but a moderate Republican?

Does that mean that Bill Frist, Rick Santorum, Cal Thomas, Jerry Falwell, James Dobson and company have it all wrong? ...

Try as I might, I can't get my brain around the sorts of questions that the interview with the governor raises ... Maybe I need a good workout - and a dietary supplement, of course. Or maybe I'll just hit myself in the temple with a ball-peen hammer and then go out and lie down in the midday sun. Either one would leave me feeling more clear-headed than another go-round with Schwarzeneggerian theology.

Well, you were reading a snipet from a muscle magazine.
Magazines are generally after-the-news rags which come up with stupid or old stuff that no one really cares about.

And you even posted the article. You got what you deserved.

You sound so unclear, unfocused and basically poorly nourished and under-exercised. Hitting self with hammer and midday sun may be your answer to things but it couldn't be any worse that your logic about Arnie's progress and path in life, a.k.a. Schwarzeneggerian theology.
For, say what you like, he is the poster boy for success.
