Charles Krauthammer on FNC predicted that Judge Roberts will be more of an O'Conner who upholds precedent rather than a Rehnquist who rules on what the constitution says.

I happened to catch Jonathan Turley on MSNBC this morning. He said repeatedly that Roberts is a "profound conservative."

Turley said that he had looked at all of the O'Connor decisions where she sided with the liberals and it was his opinion that Roberts would vote opposite on all of them.

Turley also said that the decision was made by Rove and that it was the most brilliant nomination in history.

I found his comments a bit over done, but they were very encouraging.

I disagree with Charles on this one. I think Roberts is more likely to be another Rhenquist, since he studied under and clerked for him.
