To even suggest an attack on Mecca shows Congressman Tancredo has no understanding of the true nature of Islam and the peaceful Muslims living in the Arab world. ROFLMAO

John who? Is he a republican or a democrat?
If he is making statements that stupid, I seriously hope he's not one of us.

Maybe congressman dingleberry should take a stroll down the streets of Baghdad, Beirut, or any muslim coutry for that matter. They will show him exactly how much tolerance they have for him. They will cut his throat just as soon as look at him.

To suggest that we hold an entire religion responsible for the actions of a minority of religious extremists - in effect declare a holy war against Islam - is outrageous and plays right into the hands of those very radicals.
Mr. Dingell is correct. All that Mr. Tancredo is doing is carrying water for Al Qaeda with his foolish bluster and bravado.

I don't think Tancredo's comments were very smart either. But trying to make political hay out of them as Dingell is doing is even worse.

"to suggest that any one of these sites be bombed is clearly an attack on that religion and its followers." Hey Dingell, you're pretty sharp.

The article leaves out what Tancredo really said - that this would be his response in case of a NUCLEAR attack on several US cities. Why didn't the reporter ask Congressman Dingell what his response would be?

Dingell...whst is his constituency? I just can't remember.
Is he from Alabam or Mississip. No wait, he is from Michiganistan! Now why would he oppose the honesty of Tom Tancredo? It's just beyond me.

Dingell must have been educated in the United States. History, as taught, in the American schools insinuates that the United States was totally responsible for the abduction and transportation of Salves from Africa to the New World. Reality is that the Muslims were among the first slavers walking the African East to the Muslim countries. The seafaring nations, Portugal, France, Spain, Holland, England, then expanded the slave trade to the Americas.
The Slaves that arrived in the New World were transported to the Caribbean and South America to work in the sugar cane fields. 5% of all the Slaves found their way to what is now the United states. The American government outlawed Slave importation to the new nation in 1806, and the American government was abolitionist virtually from it's inception.
The Muslims actively preached and practiced Slavery as part of their Religion, and in some parts of the world the Muslims still practice Slavery.
The basic dislike of the United States by Mr. Dingell and his ilk is soiling my floor.

Flattening Mecca wouldn't solve a damn thing and only make the situation worse. Threatening to do so is totally counterproductive and I question the intelligence of anyone who thinks this helps. If you want to break the backs of muslim fundamentalism you need to incite a cultural revolution to rip apart the degenerate muslim culture from within.

I agree with Tancredo. Maybe moderate Muslims should stand up and stop acting like cowards if they don't want this to happen in the future. If we are hit with a nuclear weapon we should hit several targets ferociously.
