It said a 9mm rifle, never heard of one before but that would be large for a rifle. Media swine usually can't tell which end of the tube the round comes out of. :)
There are several carbines that use 9mm pistol ammunition. Marlin made one, don't know if they still do.
A media pig would call it a "rifle".

There are several carbines that use 9mm pistol ammunition. Marlin made one, don't know if they still do. Not only that, it accepted magazines from one of the pistol makers, Smith & Wesson I think. Pretty handy to have behind the seat of your truck, but if I were going to have a pistol & rifle combo sharing ammo, I'd want it in .44 Mag or .45 ACP.
